The Homestead, Hawkhurst 1960s

I am trying to establish where a big house called the Homestead was located exactly. It had a huge garden and was divided into flats, somewhat run down. I believe it was demolished, and possibly a small housing development built in its place. Was it Talbot Road somewhere?

I lived there for a while in the early 1960’s as a small child, with my parents, brothers and sisters.

Hi, my sister tells me that the Homestead was opposite Tescos behind Bowles Lodge. When I was a child there was the remains of a demolished house there.
